Delegation of Doctors without Borders met with the SBMU Executive Advisor and Manager of International Affairs Development in the office of Vice-Chancellor in International Affairs

Regarding the memorandum of understanding signed between Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and the Organization of Doctors without Borders, the SBMU Executive Advisor and Manager of International Affairs Development hosted the aforementioned delegation in the office of Vice-Chancellor in International Affairs on Monday, December 7, 2015. The delegation consisted of Mr. Ernesto Herera, the Director, Ms. Elham Sadat Mir Agha Zadeh, the Deputy Director, and Ms. Esreen Prang, in charge of administrative affairs in Tehran.  

Dr. Rasekh, SBMU Executive Advisor, Manager of International Affairs Development, Dr. Veisi, and Mr. Dezfoulian, staff of SBMU International Affairs Department, took part in this meeting and discussed details of organizing the seminar and introduced scientific activities, services and capabilities of this organization concerning medical students.  

First, Mr. Ernesto Herera, expressing his positive attitude towards organizing this meeting, pointed out to experience, history and activities of the Organization of Doctors without Borders in Iran, and referred to this seminar, which is to be held for the first time at university level in Iran, as an important and essential step forward in introducing philanthropic services of this organization.  

Afterwards, Dr. Rosekh read aloud the content of the memorandum, and pointed out to organizing this seminar in collaboration with the Organization of Doctors without Borders which, as he said, should be taken as a great opportunity for initiating further collaborations in the near future.

At the end of the meeting, two individuals from both sides were appointed to be in charge of further follow ups to decide on a suitable date to hold the seminar and take necessary measures accordingly.
